What is the Treasure in Heaven? Matthew 6:16-34

The story of the Bible is about one thing: God repairing the fracture between heaven and earth.

Jesus has reunited Heaven and Earth! We as Christians get caught up in going to heaven, following all the right rules, what denomination we are a part of, what church we go to etc. None of these things are the purpose of becoming a follower of Jesus.

The reward of being a follower of Jesus is nothing more and nothing less is living life in unity and peace with God! If you are looking for anything else than this then you are saying that God is not enough for you.

From our relationship with God everything else that we are searching for will work itself out because those are the side effects of living as one of God's people. (Additional Scripture Reference: 2 Corinthians 4:6-11; Romans 8:11-15; Romans 4:18-5:5)
