Citizens of the In-Between: Ascension Sunday

The ascension was not Jesus retreating because His work was finished and He was checking out from everything happening on the world. Jesus Ascended to Heaven to be able to rule His people and the entire universe more intimately.

While Jesus did not fully reveal God's kingdom to the world on this day that does not mean His kingdom is not available to those who follow Him

The Kingdom of Heaven is a present reality in the midst of our world. It takes faith to be able to experience it.
